Dubai’s music scene is no longer a hidden gem. It’s a vibrant hub pulsating with international influences and local flavors. But behind every catchy Emirati pop tune or heart-pounding hip-hop beat, there’s a mastermind weaving the magic – the music producer.

While the spotlight often falls on the singers, Dubai’s music producers are a talented bunch fast gaining recognition. Let’s delve into a few names making waves in the industry:

Saud Ibrahim

This Emirati artist wears two hats – rapper and producer.  Ibrahim is known for his infectious blend of Emirati cultural elements with mainstream hip-hop.

His work with fellow rapper “Ahmeedo Biggie” on the viral hit “Hoopay” (a remix of “Whoopty”) is a prime example of his ability to create music that resonates with a global audience.

RedOne

While Moroccan-born, RedOne’s Dubai connections are undeniable.

Having launched his career in the city, RedOne has become a global force.

His production credits boast collaborations with superstars like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Akon.

His influence on the sound of contemporary pop music is undeniable.

Tom Noize

Tom Noize is a Hungarian DJ/producer and tutor of the same, currently resident DJ at Nikki Beach Dubai.

His own produced tracks and remixes have been played in the radio shows and sets of top DJ’s like Chicane, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Matt Darey, Nicola Fasano, Roger Shah, Alex Morph, Woody van Eyden, David Vendetta and many more.

AY The Producer

Ayham Homsi AKA AY The producer is a Syrian music producer based in the UAE.

Being born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, AY witnessed the early days of Jeddah’s hip-hop scene, working with the likes of X Factor winner Hamza Hawsawi.

After moving to Dubai, AY went on to produce songs and albums for some of the best artists in the region including Jeed, Adam Nabeel, Mohflow, and many more.

AY is also the co-founder of HRMNY, a creative agency, and collective that works on various creative projects.

Navid Hamidi

Another Dubai producer you don’t want to miss is me – Navid Hamidi.

Stationed in Dubai but originally from Tehran, I have been producing artists globally for the better part of a decade, in a range of styles from rock, to punk, to pop, R’n’b, to synthwave, and lowfi.

The list goes on, and I enjoy the challenge of working in different sonic frameworks via FL studios.

My own personal style is trapsoul, which I feel somewhat of an expert at by now, having dwelled in this genre for what seems like an eternity, in the best way possible.

Trapsoul is what is in my heart – a combination of sheer emotion, ponderous yet frisky beats, and memorable hooks and melodies.
